Go with our OLD-SCHOOL foil printed picks if you want metallic print colors, and have 3-6 weeks before you would need them in hand (First-time orders can take anywhere from 3-6 weeks. Re-orders usually ship out in less than a week.)
Go with NEW-SCHOOL Single-Color picks if you want multi-color or single color print, and you need your picks a little quicker. (3-5 business days for production, plus shipping time.)
A custom die is like a rubber stamp, but made of metal. With our Old-school foil-printing process, a custom die must be made of your design so we can ‘stamp’ the image onto the picks. We keep this one-time cost down by waiting until we have a minimum of 5 customer designs that we can submit to our die-maker all at once. Your dies are stored here at EGOpicks to be used again for future orders, and we keep them on file until they have gone un-used for 2 years.
We currently place a die order every 3-4 weeks. Once the order is submitted to the die-maker, it takes about a week for the dies to get here, and then another couple of days for us to get everyone’s picks made up and into the mail. It’s always best to give us 4-6 weeks to complete a first order of old-school picks.
YES! Our unique line of EGOpicks Custom Guitar Pick Accessories are proven sellers on merch tables, huge hits as promo items, and are also great to add on to your order as gifts. Choose from our new antique silver pick-holder necklaces, earrings, ball chain necklaces, or our popular Keychains and Pick Clips that were designed to allow the pick to be easily detached for use. All of our band merch items have been designed by EGOpicks, and are hand-made to order right here.
Custom Accessories can be ordered through either of the main enquiry forms.
Our OLD SCHOOL foils and NEW SCHOOL inks are very durable, however, you may experience some wear in areas where the strings come into contact with the pick. To reduce ink-wear while playing as much as possible, we recommend using designs that stay away from the lower edges of the picks. Some people have found that the new-school inks can wear a bit quicker on our delrin picks, than on the celluloid.
For NEW SCHOOL picks, the print result can only be as good as the artwork or photos that you send us. We recommend sending us artwork with high resolution, clean crisp lines, and reasonably sized text. Remember that a guitar pick is only 1 inch wide. What might look awesome on something as large as a t-shirt, might not work so well for a guitar pick. It’s a great idea to try shrinking your artwork down to one inch wide, and print it out on your home printer. Does it look good? Can you tell what it is? Can you read the text? If you’re still unsure, don’t worry! We always send mock-ups before we print your picks, so if we have any concerns about your artwork we will definitely let you know, and make some suggestions.
YES! Although we do not have a ‘professional’ logo design service, we have designed picks for many of our customers over the years. If you have an idea, we would be more than happy to try to come up with something that might suit your needs. You can tell us your ideas when filling out your order/enquiry form.
In many cases, the answer is YES. If your artwork suits more than one pick color, and no additional setup is required, we have no problem printing it on a mix of pick colors. Simply ask when you fill out your order/enquiry form.
Unfortunately the answer is no. There is a specific print area allowed for your custom design … however we can print the same design or an alternate design on the opposite side of the stick for an additional cost. See the Custom Drumstick page for more information.

EGOpicks orders are shipped using various Canada Post services. Some services provide tracking, and others don’t, but are still very reliable. We leave the choice up to you. We also may recommend FedEx delivery in certain situations.
To be honest, we have never found much of a need for listing a phone number. The custom guitar pick and drum stick business is very ‘visual’. When we interact with our customers about their orders, we often send photos, graphics and digital mock-ups to assist them during the design process – so it’s just easier to communicate via email.
Having said this, we are always more than happy to make or receive a phone call if that’s what the customer prefers. Just provide us with your phone number using the Contact page, and we’ll be happy to give you a call.
