ARTWORK
ORIGINAL ARTWORK…
- Graphics: The better your artwork is, the better your picks will look. Please provide high-resolution artwork whenever possible. All artwork and photos should be a minimum of 300 dpi, and at least 4-5 inches square.
- File types: We prefer to work with editable graphics files such as ai, cdr, eps or pdf. We can usually figure out how to work with other file formats such as bmp, png, and jpeg as long as they are high resolution, but this may limit what we can do with them.
- Text: Please convert all text and outlines to curves.
- Test it: Try to keep designs simple, and text as large as possible. It’s a great idea to try shrinking your artwork down to 2 inches wide, and print it out on your home printer. Does it look good? Can you tell what it is? Can you read the text?
- Don’t worry: We will advise you of any concerns we may have with your artwork when we send you your digital mockups, and show you ideas that may work better.

- EGOpicks is happy to provide basic design services free of charge You will be able to tell us your general ideas of what you’d like while making your selections in the order form.
- Find Fonts: If you want text incorporated into your design … please find 2-3 fonts that you like at www.dafont.com. On the dafont website, you can type in your desired text near the top of the page, and preview what it will look like in each font as you browse. Tell us the names of the fonts that you like, and we will do some digital mockups with the fonts that we feel will work best.
- Images or Signatures: Let us know if there’s a special object, animal, symbol or whatever that you’d like on your picks and we’ll see what we can come up with for you… or maybe upload a photo of your signature on a plain white background and we’ll make you your own ‘Signature Picks’!

CUSTOM GUITAR PICKS
My band has 2 guitarists that use different thicknesses of picks. Can we order more than one gauge?
YES! We understand that even a solo artist might use different picks in different situations - so you can definitely mix up your gauges in all EGOpicks orders.
Can I order more than one pick color?
YES! If your artwork will stand out on more than one pick color, by all means - go for it! You can choose up to 3 pick colors within a set.
How can I be sure that my artwork will look good on a guitar pick?
For the best possible print results, we recommend using artwork files with high resolution, clean crisp lines, and reasonably sized text. Remember that a guitar pick is only 1 inch wide. What might look awesome on something as large as a t-shirt, may not work so well for a guitar pick. It’s a great idea to try shrinking your artwork down to one inch wide, and printing it out on your home printer. Does it look good? Can you tell what it is? Can you read the text? If you’re still unsure, don’t worry! We carefully review each and every design that’s submitted, so if we have any concerns about your artwork we will let you know before we print anything, and make some suggestions.
Will my artwork wear off of my picks?
The inks that we use are extremely durable, however, you may experience some wear in areas where the strings come into contact with the pick. To reduce ink-wear while playing as much as possible, we recommend using designs that stay away from the lower edges of the picks.
Can EGOpicks help me with a simple design layout for my custom picks?
SURE! Although we don’t claim to be ‘professional’ designers, we have managed to come up with some pretty clever and creative designs for many of our customers over the years. If you have an idea, we would be more than happy to try to come up with something that might suit your needs.
Can I get my custom picks put onto necklaces or key chains?
ABSOLUTELY! Our unique line of EGOpicks Band Merch items are proven sellers on merch tables, huge hits as promo items, and they also make super cool gifts. We can turn your designs into necklaces, keychains, earrings, and several other fabulous items that people will love.

CUSTOM DRUMSTICKS
Can I have my multi-color artwork put on drumsticks?
YES! We can do single-color or full-color artwork on your drumsticks.
Can my design go all the way around the stick?
Unfortunately the answer to this one is no.
There are specific print areas that have to be adhered to for custom drumstick designs. See the Custom Drumstick page for more information.
Will my artwork wear off of my drumsticks?
Our inks are extremely durable, however, like anything else that experiences the kind of hands-on treatment that drumsticks endure, it’s likely that you will eventually experience some degree of ink-wear.
Can I order more than one style/size of drumsticks?
Heck yeah! As long as the design is the same for all, feel free to get a mix of 5A, 5B and 2B and see what you like best.

How long will it take for my order to ship out?
When you order from EGOpicks, you can be sure that we will do our very best to get your order completed as quickly as possible.
Most orders typically ship within 5-7 business days.
Once your order has shipped, it can take anywhere from 2-14 business days to reach any given destination worldwide – depending on your location, and the shipping service you select.
How will my order be shipped?
Most orders are shipped using various Canada Post services. Your options for shipping will be provided during the checkout process.
We ship most of our products in environmentally friendly and recyclable inner and outer packaging.
Can you do rush orders?
During busy times, it might be difficult to rush your order, but please feel free to contact us and we will certainly see what we can do to accommodate your needs.
GENERAL
Why isn’t there a phone number listed on the website?
To be honest, we have never found much of a need for listing a phone number. The custom guitar pick and drum stick business is very ‘visual’. When we interact with our customers about their orders, we often send photos, graphics and digital mock-ups to assist them – so it’s just easier to communicate via email.
Having said this, we are always more than happy to communicate via phone call if that’s what you prefer. Just provide us with your phone number using the Contact page, and we’ll be happy to give you a call as soon as we can.
